West Forsyth and Lambert are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The West Forsyth Wolverines will head out on the road to square off against the Lambert Longhorns at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, West Forsyth earned a 51-41 victory over Sequoyah. 51 seems to be a good number for West Forsyth as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Meanwhile, Lambert waltzed into their matchup on Friday with eight straight wins but they left with nine. They took down Denmark 49-35.
The win got West Forsyth back to even at 10-10. As for Lambert, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-8.
West Forsyth came up short against Lambert in their previous meeting back in November of 2023, falling 56-46. Can West Forsyth avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
