They really took it to Southern Nash for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-23 win at home. Winning may never get old, but Rocky Mount sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
McKinley Battle continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with six rebounds and six steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaitlin White, who scored five points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Rocky Mount has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Southern Nash, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.
Rocky Mount will face off against Franklinton at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklinton is on a ten-game streak of home wins, Rocky Mount a 16-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Southern Nash will take on Northern Nash at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
