It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Briarwood Academy Buccaneers had no problem doing just that on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 21-6 win over the War Eagles. Winning may never get old, but Briarwood Academy sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Leading Briarwood Academy to victory were Hollis Evans and Charlie Mosley. Evans rushed for 185 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.4 yards per carry, while Mosley rushed for 182 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. Mosley hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for four straight games.
Several War Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Baylor Cobb, who threw for 138 yards and a touchdown.

Briarwood Academy will head out on the road to face off against Gatewood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The pair have allowed few points on average, (Gatewood: 14.5, Briarwood Academy: 18.1) so any points scored will be well earned. Brentwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
