Baseball Recap: Southeast Halifax's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Southeast Halifax entered their tilt with North Edgecombe on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 18-2 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-11 back in March.

Arthur Joseph Jr. and James Bullock did most of the damage at the plate: Joseph Jr. scored three runs and stole seven bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Bullock scored three runs and stole seven bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases Joseph Jr. has posted since back in April of 2024. Raquan Scott was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Southeast Halifax always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .767. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Southeast Halifax's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for North Edgecombe, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.
