East Stroudsburg North hasn't had much luck against East Stroudsburg South recently, but that could start to change  on Monday. The Timberwolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cavaliers  at 4:00  p.m. East Stroudsburg North has given up an average of 12.2  runs per game this season, but Monday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
East Stroudsburg North is headed into Monday's   contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game  on Friday. They lost  15-4 to Freedom.
 East Stroudsburg North saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jennika Doyle, who  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. That  home run was  Doyle's first of the season.  Alexis McAteer was another,  going 1-for-3 with two  runs.
East Stroudsburg South came out on top against Pleasant Valley  on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run sixth inning. The Cavaliers were the clear victors by  a  14-6 margin over the Bears. Considering the Cavaliers have won six matches by more than five  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Joslynn Yurescko was a  major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 4-for-5 with three  runs.
 In other batting news,  Erin Brozusky was  excellent,  going 2-for-4 with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double. Another player making a difference was  Johanna Carey, who  went 1-for-4 with two  runs and one  RBI.
 East Stroudsburg South  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. They are 7-2 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
 East Stroudsburg South has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for East Stroudsburg North, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.
