On Saturday, in a tight contest that could have gone either way, Mill Creek made off with a 55-54 victory over Seneca. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Mill Creek.
When it comes to explaining why Seneca lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jalen Craig. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. The contest was Craig's 11th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Cam O'kelley, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds.
The victory got Mill Creek back to even at 5-5. As for Seneca, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2.
Mill Creek will head out on the road to face off against White Oak at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Seneca will be home for the holidays to greet Easley at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Easley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Thursday.
