The DuQuoin Indians lost against the Christopher Bearcats back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. DuQuoin took a hard 59-43 fall against Christopher. DuQuoin has struggled against Christopher recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Indians players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dwayne Wilmington, who scored 11 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Maynor, who scored 13 points.
DuQuoin has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Christopher, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season.
DuQuoin will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Johnston City at 7:30 p.m. on January 18th. As for Christopher, they will face off against Anna-Jonesboro at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
