The Jamestown Red Raiders lost against the Orchard Park Quakers last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Jamestown suffered a tough 68-43 loss at the hands of Orchard Park. Jamestown was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-13.
It was another big night for Halle Senfield, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds for Orchard Park. Senfield is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 21 or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Lainey Babich, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Jamestown has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Orchard Park, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-6.
Jamestown will head out on the road to square off against Mount Mercy Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Orchard Park, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Iroquois at 7:30 p.m. Iroquois is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
