Volleyball Recap: Conway Has No Trouble Against Plato

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mountain Grove, Conway was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Plato Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

While Conway won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 25-21.

Madison Thompson paced Conway's offense, picking up seven kills. Thompson were helped by Arianna Hughes and Adalee Letterman, who contributed 12 assists each.

The victory got Conway back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Conway will take on Billings at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Plato, they will head out on the road to face off against Seymour at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
