They put the hurt on St. John's Prep with a sharp 68-44 win on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for Notre Dame Academy who now have four in a row.
Notre Dame Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kiersten Mills, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Giuliana Dito, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Notre Dame Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26.33 points. As for St. John's Prep, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Notre Dame Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on West Orange at 2:15 p.m. on January 7, 2024. St. John's Prep will finish 2023 at home by hosting Holy Trinity at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Holy Trinity will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 385th, while St. John's Prep is ranked 164th).
