The Ridgevue Warhawks fell victim to the Emmett Huskies''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They had to suffer through a rough 41-0 loss at the hands of the Huskies. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ridgevue in their matchups with Emmett: they've now lost five in a row.
Ryder Scheibe looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 101 yards on only ten carries, while also throwing for 179 yards and two touchdowns. Isaac Brennan did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 87 receiving yards, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground.
Ridgevue's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Emmett, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
Ridgevue does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Emmett is also done with their season.
