The Butte Central Catholic Maroons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 67-24 loss at the hands of Browning. Butte Central Catholic has not had much luck with Browning recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Browning got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Josey Michael out in front who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Jerel White Grass was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds and six steals.
Butte Central Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Browning, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Butte Central Catholic and Polson will face off at 4:00 p.m. on December 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Browning is on the road again on Friday and play against Hardin at 4:30 p.m. on December 15th.
