Adding to the longest winning streak in 5A District 2 this week, Sandia beat Atrisco Heritage Academy 45-11. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Sandia took down the Jaguars 45-11 last week, the largest margin of any game.
6-foot-6 quarterback Zach Gentry of Eldorado is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,587. He has also thrown 9 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Charles Countee. The Manzano star has 39 catches for 491 yards.
Kevin Barker's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 45 points on Atrisco Heritage Academy.
