Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Green City to victory, but perhaps none more so than Xander Salas, who almost dropped a triple-double on 12 points, nine assists, and nine steals. Salas hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Kaden Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
La Plata has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Green City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season.
La Plata was dealt a bruising 70-39 defeat at the hands of Green City in their previous matchup last Monday. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point La Plata was down 47-15.
