The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Arizona Cultural Academy has scored all season.
Arizona Cultural Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mahdy Abdeljaber, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hasnain Qazi, who scored 11 points.
Arizona Cultural Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2. As for Skyline - Gila River, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
Arizona Cultural Academy will be playing at home against James Madison Preparatory School at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Skyline - Gila River, they will head out on the road to face off against Academy with Community Partners at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Academy with Community Partners will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 213th, while Skyline - Gila River is ranked 50th).
