Fossil Ridge is a perfect 5-0 against Saginaw since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Fossil Ridge will be playing at home against Saginaw at 7:00 p.m. Fossil Ridge's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Saginaw's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Fossil Ridge will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs last Friday, then bounced right back against Chisholm Trail on Monday. Fossil Ridge was the clear victor by a 15-5 margin over Chisholm Trail. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won five matches by seven runs or more so far this season.
Briley Wilson made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, seven RBI, and two runs. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season.

Saginaw's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Fossil Ridge hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .360. It's a different story for Saginaw, though, as they've only averaged .133. Will they be able to contain Fossil Ridge's hitters?
Fossil Ridge was able to grind out a solid victory over Saginaw in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, winning 6-3. Does Fossil Ridge have another victory up their sleeve, or will Saginaw turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
