Mt. Healthy is 8-2 against Harrison since February of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Mt. Healthy Fighting Owls will be home for the holidays to greet the Harrison Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Mt. Healthy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Mt. Healthy pushed their score all the way to 69 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 83-69 bruising from Batavia. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Friday (61), Mt. Healthy still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Harrison ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past South Dearborn 58-56. The victory was all the more spectacular given Harrison's disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 288th in Ohio, while South Dearborn is ranked 143rd in Indiana).
Mt. Healthy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Harrison, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3.
