Del Mar is 9-1 against Yerba Buena since December of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Del Mar Dons will look to defend their home court against the Yerba Buena Aztec Warriors at 7:30 p.m.
Del Mar unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 48-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mt. Pleasant.
Yerba Buena has not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They walked away with a 52-45 win over James Lick on Wednesday.
Brandon Tran was his usual excellent self, scoring 17 points. He hasn't dropped below 15points for six straight games. Owen Tran was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Del Mar's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Yerba Buena, their victory bumped their record up to 2-15.
