Upper St. Clair took a three-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Mt. Lebanon, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers won by a goal and slipped past the Blue Devils 2-1. The win was a breath of fresh air for Upper St. Clair as it put an end to their four-match losing streak.

Upper St. Clair's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Mt. Lebanon, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3-2.
