Basketball Recap: Christ Chapel Academy Takes a Loss

Christ Chapel Academy lost against Fairfax HomeSchool on February 1st, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Christ Chapel Academy took a 63-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fairfax HomeSchool Hawks. Christ Chapel Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Christ Chapel Academy lost, don't look at David Neaves. Despite the final result, he posted 28 points. Neaves' evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. Noah Willis was another key player, putting up seven points.

Christ Chapel Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Fairfax HomeSchool, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-8.

Christ Chapel Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 65-41 defeat against New Covenant on the 25th. Fairfax HomeSchool will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Christian Educational Consortium at 9:30 p.m. on March 4th.
