Meanwhile, Three Rivers won against Sabinal last Tuesday with 17 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. Three Rivers put the hurt on La Pryor with a sharp 17-3 win. The result was nothing new for Three Rivers, who have now won 12 matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Xavier Carranza made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Carranza was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. He has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last ten times he's played.

Three Rivers' victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Falls City, their victory bumped their record up to 13-8.
Friday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Falls City has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .440. However, it's not like Three Rivers struggles in that department as they've averaged .494. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
