Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Washington Tigers walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 55-7 victory over the Raptors on the road. Considering Washington has won 13 matchups by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Despite the loss, Anderson still got an impressive performance from Trace Jallick, who picked up 106 receiving yards and a touchdown.
The win for Washington keeps them at an undefeated 15-0. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.13 points. As for Anderson, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-2.
Washington will take on Archbishop Hoban at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in the nation (Archbishop Hoban is ranked 32nd, while Washington is ranked 14th). Anderson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
