New Life Christian has struggled against Crosspoint Christian recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Crosspoint Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but James Murray led the charge by dropping a double-double on 25 points and 30 rebounds. Murray has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jace Stroup, who scored 18 points along with eight assists and six rebounds.
New Life Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Crosspoint Christian, they pushed their record up to 8-7 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
New Life Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Louis HomeSchool P at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Crosspoint Christian will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Liberty Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd. Hopefully Liberty Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Saturday.
