Brockway is 2-8 against DuBois Central Catholic since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. Brockway struggled with offensive rebounds last Tuesday (St. Marys had 14 more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Brockway was outmatched by St. Marys at home and fell 57-28. Brockway was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-16.
Despite the defeat, Brockway had strong showings from Caleb Daugherty, who scored ten points, and Kolton Kahle, who scored no points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Daugherty has scored all season.
Meanwhile, DuBois Central Catholic came up short against St. Marys on Monday and fell 62-52. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for DuBois Central Catholic in their matchups with St. Marys: they've now lost six in a row.
Brockway's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-3. As for DuBois Central Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Brockway was taken down by DuBois Central Catholic 57-21 in their previous meeting back in February. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Brockway was down 40-12.
