Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tradition Prep). They really took it to the St. Edward's Pirates for the full four quarters, racking up an 89-55 victory. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Tradition Prep had established a 23 point advantage.

Aydan Fields was his usual excellent self, going 6 for 13 en route to 15 points and eight boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Boule, who posted nine points and five rebounds.

Tradition Prep smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in ten consecutive matchups.

St. Edward's lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Carson Yates, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 14 points. The dominant performance gave Yates a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Gary Anderson, who had eight points along with 13 boards and eight blocks.

Tradition Prep has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points per game. As for St. Edward's, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.

Tradition Prep will square off against Somerset College Prep Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
