Catholic Central has struggled against Monroe Central recently, as their game on Wednesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Catholic Central lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ella Maragos, who scored 18 points. Maragos has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times she's played. Jackie O'karma was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five assists and three steals.
Catholic Central has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season. As for Monroe Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-3.
