The Drummond Trojans can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. They blew past Powell County 44-23. Winning may never get old, but Drummond sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Drummond found their leader in underclassman Kimber Parsons, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds. That's the first time this season that Parsons scored 15 or more points. Lexi Nelson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with four steals.
Drummond pushed their record up to 9-3 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Powell County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Drummond the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Valley Christian at 5:00 p.m. on January 30th. Valley Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Montana Rankings (they are ranked 129th, while Drummond is ranked 46th). As for Powell County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Florence-Carlton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
