Northridge came in surrendering 17.6 points per game this season. NHS struggled against the Sandy school's offense, which entered the game scoring 47.5 points per game. The Beetdiggers came in allowing an average of 20.4 points per game this season. The defense really stepped up, holding the Layton school well below its season average of 21.8 points scored per game.
The loss comes after Northridge defeated Granger 42-25 last week.
