Marshall didn't get the result they wanted in their first game with South El Monte on Friday. They will be looking for a result a little better than the 2-0 loss they were dealt on Friday when they meet later in the season. They were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as South El Monte apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for South El Monte, their win bumped their record up to 6-11-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marshall will challenge South El Monte at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. South El Monte will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Mountain View at 3:15 p.m. on January 22nd.
