Goshen and Mishawaka are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The Goshen RedHawks will head out on the road to take on the Mishawaka Cavemen at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Goshen is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.
Goshen suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Saturday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 61-41 walloping at the hands of Warsaw. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Goshen has suffered against Warsaw since January 11, 2019.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Gage Worthman, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Andre Williams, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Meanwhile, Mishawaka came up short against Northridge on Saturday and fell 40-31. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Mishawaka has scored all season.
Goshen's record is now 4-8. Mishawaka's record is now 8-4.
Goshen came out on top in a nail-biter against Mishawaka in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, sneaking past 47-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for Goshen since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
