Martin Luther put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 71-38 win over the St. Thomas More Cavaliers. That looming 71-38 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Spartans yet this season.

Martin Luther pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.8 points per game. As for St. Thomas More, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Martin Luther will take on Racine Saint Catherine?s/Racine Lutheran in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Thomas More and Racine Lutheran will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
