The Canon City Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their seventh straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 65-47 to Palmer. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Canon City in their matchups with the Terrors: they've now lost seven in a row.
Palmer got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was J'twane Mike out in front who scored 20 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mike has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Weber, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Canon City will face off against the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Palmer, they will head out on the road to challenge the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
