Raoul Churchill continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 18 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was James Macey, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Big Bear can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They claimed a resounding 64-28 victory over University Prep on the road. The win was familiar territory for Big Bear who now have six in a row.
Riverside Prep's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-12. As for Big Bear, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.
Riverside Prep beat Big Bear 70-60 in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Big Bear's Braeden Varney, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds.
