St. Paul was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
It was another big night for William Stackhouse, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 15 rebounds for Altoona-Midway. Stackhouse is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Kieran Foster was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
St. Paul's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Altoona-Midway, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Paul will square off against the Jayhawks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Altoona-Midway, they will head out on the road to take on the Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Kansas (Northeast is ranked 296th, while the Jets are ranked 280th).
