Poth is 7-1 against Natalia since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Poth Pirates will look to defend their home court against the Natalia Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Poth is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games.
Jourdanton typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Poth proved too difficult a challenge. They snuck past the Indians/Squaws with a 47-43 win.
Meanwhile, Natalia ended up a good deal behind Hondo on Tuesday and lost 49-33. Natalia has not had much luck with Hondo recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Natalia saw an underclassman step up: Leyla Saenz scored 18 points along with five steals.
Poth is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 25-9 record this season. As for Natalia, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-21.
Poth didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Natalia in their previous matchup back in January of 2022, but they still walked away with a 46-40 win. Will Poth repeat their success, or does Natalia have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
