On Thursday, The Roncalli Catholic Crimson Pride got themselves on the board against the Concordia Mustangs, but the Concordia Mustangs never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 64-0 victory over the Mustangs at home. The result was nothing new for Roncalli Catholic, who have now won five contests by 22 points or more so far this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Roncalli Catholic to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brady Mcgill, who threw for 102 yards and five touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Haman-macias, who rushed for 116 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries.
Roncalli Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Concordia, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Roncalli Catholic will head out on the road to face off against Pierce at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nebraska (Pierce is ranked 12th, while Roncalli Catholic is ranked 28th). Concordia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
