The Metro Christian Patriots will be playing in front of their home fans against the McLain Science & Tech Titans at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Metro Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 89th, while McLain Science & Tech is ranked 16th).
After a string of three wins, Metro Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of Cascia Hall by a score of 62-59. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Meanwhile, McLain Science & Tech waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with six straight wins but they left with seven. They walked away with a 50-41 victory over Oklahoma City S.
Metro Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for McLain Science & Tech, they pushed their record up to 15-1 with that victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
Metro Christian skirted past McLain Science & Tech 70-68 in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Will Metro Christian repeat their success, or does McLain Science & Tech have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
