After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fort Walton Beach, The Bay Tornadoes were happy to have found some success on Friday. They had just enough and edged Rutherford out 18-15. That's another feather in the cap for Bay, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Bay found their leader in underclassman Zabeyon Morgan, who threw for 168 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes.
Bay's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Rutherford, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.
Bay will head out on the road to face off against Port St. Joe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rutherford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bozeman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bozeman will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
