Easton Lawrence continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Cheyenne-Eagle Butte, scoring 11 points along with nine rebounds. The game was Lawrence's third in a row with at least ten points. Austin Johnson was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Chamberlain's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-7. As for Cheyenne-Eagle Butte, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chamberlain will face off against Bon Homme at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cheyenne-Eagle Butte, they will head out on the road to face off against Crow Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Crow Creek is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
