The Conway Springs Cardinals won the last time they faced the Caldwell Bluejays, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Conway Springs came out on top against Caldwell by a score of 42-30. That 42-30 margin sets a new team best for Conway Springs this season.
Despite the loss, Caldwell still got an impressive performance from Jackson Risley, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds. Risley scored a full 53.3% of Caldwell's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Conway Springs' victory bumped their record up to 1-3-1. As for Caldwell, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Conway Springs will be home for the holidays to greet Belle Plaine at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
