West Florida Baptist Academy is 8-2 against Atmore Christian since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Conquerors will host the Rams at 4:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Atmore Christian will be up against a hot West Florida Baptist Academy squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went the Conquerors' way against Rocky Bayou Christian last Monday as they made off with a 10-2 win. Considering the Conquerors have won ten matches by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Haley Snyder was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Those 13 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one run and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Zoie Griffin, who went 2-for-5 with three RBI and two runs. Shay Bill was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
West Florida Baptist Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rocky Bayou Christian only managed five hits.
Meanwhile, Atmore Christian got the win against Lighthouse Private Christian Academy on Monday by a conclusive 17-2. Winning may never get old, but the Rams sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Like West Florida Baptist Academy, Atmore Christian also got a great game from a two-way player: Ava Smoker. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. Smoker was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Atmore Christian got a massive performance out of Tamra Stoltzfus, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three stolen bases, and four runs. Stoltzfus has been hot recently, having also posted three or more RBI the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Lizzy Landis, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs.
West Florida Baptist Academy pushed their record up to 14-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Atmore Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 5-14.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. West Florida Baptist Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .462. However, it's not like Atmore Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .464. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
West Florida Baptist Academy took their win against Atmore Christian when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 19-5 score. Will the Conquerors repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
