Union Grove not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 15, 2024 (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Locust Grove Wildcats as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win last Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-12, 25-15.

Riley Bethea paced Union Grove's offense, picking up 13 kills. Bethea got some help from Sadie Peterson and her 35 assists. Kylee Evans and Sydney Jones kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Union Grove has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 22 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-6-1 record this season. As for Locust Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-8-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Union Grove will venture away from home to challenge Whitewater at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Locust Grove, they will head out to square off against Fayette County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
