The Plainfield South Cougars's game on Thursday was all tied up 28-28 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 59-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Romeoville. While losing is never fun, Plainfield South can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 137th, while Romeoville is ranked 43rd).
Despite the loss, Plainfield South still got an impressive performance from Jazlynn Foster, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 22 rebounds. Foster has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last seven times she's played.
