The Stella High Charter Academy Eagles lost against the Foshay Wolverines back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Stella High Charter Academy was beaten by Foshay 105-27. Stella High Charter Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Foshay's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabriel Wright, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Peter Egwurube, who scored 20 points.
Stella High Charter Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Foshay, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Stella High Charter Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Middle College at 4:30 p.m. on December 1st. As for Foshay, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Animo South Los Angeles at 4:30 p.m. on December 1st. Animo South Los Angeles and Foshay are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
