Westwood won the last time they faced Mesa and things went their way on Friday too. Westwood blew past Mesa 16-6. Considering the Warriors have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Westwood is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. Mesa dropped their record down to 2-11 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Westwood will welcome Skyline at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Mesa, they will venture away from home to face off against Gilbert at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Gilbert will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Mesa surely won't give up without a fight.
