Even though the Randolph County Tigers have not done well against the Beulah Bobcats recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Randolph County claimed a resounding 63-34 victory over Beulah on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Randolph County has posted since December 7, 2023.
Among those leading the charge was Talee Sims, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Brantlee Wortham was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five steals.
Randolph County has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season. As for Beulah, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
Randolph County's road trip will continue as they head out to face Cleburne County at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. As for Beulah, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Reeltown at 5:00 p.m. Hopefully Reeltown focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Tuesday.
