3A Mountain Rivers recap Oct. 23, 2012
Teton was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after topping South Fremont. The Redskins came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 28 last week.
Shelley extended the longest winning streak in 3A Mountain Rivers this week by beating Sugar-Salem, 48-8. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
South Fremont's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cougars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Junior Gonzalez has thrown for 771 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Jason Maupin has 17 catches for 319 yards. Zach Trost leads the league in rushing with 246 yards.
