The Scott Beavers will head out to challenge the Cimarron Bluejays at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Scott 3.1, Cimarron 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
On Tuesday, Scott didn't have quite enough to beat Colby and fell 3-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Beavers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.
Riley Suppes put in work no matter where she played. She struck out 11 batters over 11 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Suppes was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season.

Suppes wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Gentry, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base. Gentry has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.
Meanwhile, Cimarron had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Trojans.
Like Scott, Cimarron also got a great game from a two-way player: Quinn Campbell. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned runs off eight hits. Campbell was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last 11 games.
In other batting news, Ashlynn Randa and Presley Glenn did most of the damage at the plate: Randa went 1-for-4 with two runs and one double, while Glenn went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits Glenn has posted since back in May of 2025.
Scott's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Cimarron, their record now sits at 10-2.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Scott has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Cimarron struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Scott might still be hurting after the 12-2 defeat they got from Cimarron when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Can the Beavers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
