Salem fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They enjoyed a cozy 55-36 win over the Clearview Clippers on Friday. The game marked the Quakers' most dominant victory of the season.
Despite the defeat, Clearview had strong showings from Quavion Grant, who posted 17 points, and Deacon Delgado, who had 13 points and six rebounds. Tyler Chapman also deserves some recognition as he posted his first blocks of the season.
Salem's win bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Clearview, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-11.
