There's no place like home for the Arcadia Apaches, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Monday. They strolled past Burroughs with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 70-54. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Arcadia also won the last time the pair played last Monday.
Arcadia's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mansour Senneh, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Noa Eteuati-Edwards, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds.
Burroughs' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landon Everhart, who scored ten points along with six blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Kardosh, who scored 13 points.
Arcadia's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Burroughs, their loss dropped their record down to 13-10.
Arcadia will head out on the road to take on Burbank at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Burbank is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak. As for Burroughs, they will be playing at home against Pasadena at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Pasadena knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Burroughs likes a good challenge.
